(Columbia, MD – December 3, 2024) – XPERTECHS has continued its holiday tradition of supporting the Maryland Food Bank with a donation that will provide 10,000 meals to Maryland residents in need. By making the donation on Giving Tuesday, XPERTECHS has increased its impact, as every dollar donated on this day will double the support for families facing food insecurity.

“Giving Tuesday is the perfect moment to amplify our support,” said Mike Mellott, President of XPERTECHS. “It’s rewarding to know that this contribution will provide meals for families not just during the holidays, but throughout the year when the need remains so great. The positive feedback we’ve received from clients over the years reinforces how meaningful this tradition has become.

XPERTECHS began its annual support for the Maryland Food Bank in 2020, shifting funds previously spent on client gifts to instead support efforts to fight food insecurity. Since then, it has become a valued holiday tradition, benefiting the Maryland Food Bank’s programs and services.

Pack to Give Back: Assembling thousands of holiday meal boxes with the help of community volunteers.

Neighborhood Impact Grant: Supporting local nonprofits with funding to develop innovative approaches to ending hunger.

Ravens Family Food & Funds Drive: Partnering with the Baltimore Ravens to collect food and monetary donations for Marylanders in need.
