As an Automation Analyst, you’ll be our expert at building and deploying workflows to streamline business processes with Microsoft Power Apps. You’ll use your analytical abilities and out-of-the-box thinking to remove complexity, manual steps and duplicate work, and turn it into smooth automations that are accurate and efficient. You’ll be involved with the whole app creation process, from strategy and planning to building and implementation. The documentation you create to accompany each process will allow you to share knowledge with the support team and set up users for successful utilization of the workflow.
You’ll work closely with the vCIO to identify opportunities for workflow automation and present project ideas to clients. You’ll be involved in the sales process and assist with proposal preparation.
When proposals are accepted, it will be time for your head-down work with Power Apps. You’ll be a department of one with the assistance of a few outsourced contractors whom you’ll manage.
You’ll have lots of interactions with clients all through the development and deployment process.
From time to time, you’ll work with our engineers on automations that will improve our internal processes, and they may assist you on managing and maintaining deployed workflows.
This is a niche department and a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in building apps with low code. You’ll get to own the goals as well as the praises when clients experience the awesome results of your work.
When you go home at the end of the day, you’ll get satisfaction from knowing that you’re meeting project milestones and that there are no communication loose-ends that have people wondering about progress.
The documentation you create is easy for users to follow. People like working with you. Clients like talking with you and they increasingly look to you as a solution-provider that they trust.
You’re going to be great in this role if you like to get your hands dirty working with the latest technology, but you also enjoy the interactions that go along with the project life cycle. You’re confident when talking with clients, clear when communicating with contractors, and organized when it comes to managing multiple projects in different stages of development.
You can comprehend complex technical concepts and have a knack for communicating in terms that people can understand. Creating documentation isn’t a drag but a challenge to empower end-users with a quick ramp up to utilization of each workflow.
You’re energized by the thought of stretching your knowledge and abilities in order to create brand new technology solutions that make life easier for others.
You’ll be supported in your professional career with opportunities to attend conferences and participate in training to grow your skills. As a managed IT service company, we work with multiple clients in various industries, so your exposure to each unique IT environment will also provide teachable moments.
